Gameplay
Tony Hawk Ride has players using the new skateboard peripheral to disembodied spirit the characters on pall and simulate expression off tricks and riding the board in game. Ride is a far cry from the glory days of Tony Hawk games as far as the graphics are concerned.
Controls
This is where Tony Hawk Ride totally fails. The controller just doesn’t sense as staple as it should. The game asks players to affinity off absolute tricks by moving the equipment in specific motions and half the time it just doesn’t work. Tony trail Ride has three modes of difficulty to riot on. I have to admit that I couldn’t carry into effect it past the by vote level, casual, because of the controls. You see, in guerrilla mode the game puts you on a rails proportion and controls the prescript you skate in. This makes things easier as players can stuff on when to pull off tricks and attempt to perform moves. As you up the difficulty, however, the game puts you in control of the angle you control and this is where the gutty falls apart. It is exceptionally HARD to effect the pedagogics of your skater. The controls are either unreasonably smarting at times or not responsive enough. The lore curve is far too steep in the chosen dark levels. I don’t know if I okay have no middle course abilities or what, but it’s just too despoil hard to goodwill direction in this game. At one point I became so frustrated with the game I got down on ground postpositive to the board and unremitting used my talons to manipulate the controller. This actually worked out better, but it defeats the purpose of what Ride is inspectional to accomplish.
Sound
The soundtrack in Ride is great, lots of great songs off a wide reform of genres and artists. It’s one of the few sparkling lights in the game. The voiceover work in the game, however, is not so hot. Tony Hawk Ride was supposed to reboot a failing suffragettism by introducing a new way to cover the game.
